In April 2000, John P. Kohoot's wife, Mary, wrote her story at the age of seventy-eight.  "I'm sorry I didn't write my story when I was younger.  I hope it will be a blessing to you who read it and that it will encourage you to live for the Lord.  My greatest desire is that some who will read it will accept the Lord as their own Saviour." 

Mary attended the 50th Anniversary of Roseau River Baptist Church on May 4th, 2003, and two weeks later, on May 19th, 2003, she went to be with her Lord and Saviour.
